Limited Edition Prints

The Haida painted their original designs on the front of their longhouses, canoes, paddles, masks, bentwood boxes, bowls, carved spoons, as tattoos on their bodies, on their woven hats, dance aprons, dance leggings and almost everything that they created. It wasn’t until the late 1960’s that they started to do the limited edition silkscreen prints on paper for sale. Bill Reid and Robert Davidson did some of the earliest of these prints.
